Hi,
As you can see in my picture, the wall is not properly closed. It have some gap. How to fix this?
I tried to make nozzel heat 210, print speed 60, infill overlap 30%, and top/bottom thickness 1.2 but not solve the problem 100%.
What kind of printer?
stevenwolcott I'm using JG Maker Magic
On my Ender3, if there is a gap in the ptfe-nozzle, this happens. I don't know how yours is set up.
stevenwolcott you mean set it in firmware, not in cura? By the way today I'm testing infill overlap and... (I forgot another one) set as 30% and also skin 1 and enable iron skin.
Will update if solved
stevenwolcott ok, I got what you mean. Ptfe nozzel (after I Google it). Can't be Ptfe nozzel because I set nozzel tempreture 210 and the pla feeder push pla without problem and it should flow nicely
Maybe it's an underextrusion issue. Try calibrating your e steps per mm. There are tons of guides on YouTube. Not sure if this solves the issue but calibrating your e steps is always a good idea. And doesn't take much effort at all.
Just search for: "e steps calibration"
I think this solved.
In Cura
Now it print top perfectly! Only now need to adjust details print so it can print up to 0.03mm details as advertise without major problem.
Thanks guys
I'm not familiar with cura settings. But I think you might want to consider adding spacing between your brim / skirt and the print.
Also it looks to me that the nozzle is too close to the print bed on the first layer. Try adjusting your z offset a little bit. Having the nozzle to close to the surface will certainly degrade your nozzle and print bed in no time!!
Toby thanks for the advice. Yes I did adjust distance between nozzle and bed during the printing of base support.
Note of extra advice for newbie: If you change the original bed to magnetic bed or any bed, you need to redo your bed leveling again. This will prevent your bed and nozzle damage.
